I pulled my drain almost all the way out by accident. No suction at all now. How will they fix it?

2 weeks ago today I had a thigh, butt and arm lift. I have would separation on the incision in multiple areas. I have 2 drains and one is barely draining anything and is ready to come out. Of course the one that pulled out is the one that has been draining high amounts, maybe 80 per day. If they take this out I feel like I'm almost guaranteeing myself another surgery because of the fluid. What can they do to avoid this?

I'm sorry to hear about your accident.  But try not to worry.  The first thing is to contact your surgeon and get their advice.  They will be in the best position to know your situation and help.  Pulling out a drain, accidentally, is not uncommon and most patient still do fine.  Best wishes, Dr. Lepore.

First and foremost call your surgeon and get their advise.Since it has been in awhile they may just pull it out or depending on your circumstances might replace it
