Is SkinPen a good option to treat an indented and hyperpigmented area? (photos)

Have slight indentation on nose tip resulting from hyfrecation of freckle with poorly healed scabbing, Had done this in past w no scabbing. Now I have very shallow divot on nose tip with freckle/hyperpigmentation within. Feel disfigured now and it looks different depending on how light hits my nose. Would like to explore conservative modality (don’t want to make it worse!) to break up pigment/fill in divot. Will SkinPen be a good option for this? I don’t ever want to scab there again!
