I had a septoplasty with inferior turbinate submucous resection oo(oabout 50%) about 8 months ago. I also had a rhinoplasty. Since then the air I breathe in feels cold (it used to feel colder) and my nose gets very dry at night time. I have no problems breathing via my nose. Since the surgery the roof of my mouth feels dry and cold. My tongue is really dry. The surgery was a complex one as my turbinates were very enlarged. My doctor says its all healing well. When/will this stop?
I want to get the filler as Im approaching the year mark and I want to build on my previous fill. The surgery would be about a month later. Nothing external is being done on my nose, and theres no filler in or around the nose. Just making sure theres nothing Im missing as I can wait on the filler if absolutely necessary.
When I was younger I fell into a cupboard which left my nose crooked, I was only 4 and as a result wasn't able to have surgery to correct it. I had a CT scan a few years ago which confirmed I have chronic sinusitis, bone spurs and a deviated septum. I've had mild to severe eye pain since the incident, which has caused me numerous problems and both school and now work.
I'm 23 and have chronic sinusitis. Recently took CT scan and report is shown as MUCOSAL THICKENING IN BILATERAL ETHMOID, MAXILLARY AND SPHENOID SINUS. AND DEVIATED NASAL SEPTUM. My doctor going to perform FESS Surgery and Septoplasty next week . Is FESS procedure safe? I saw some sites says it has serious complication because of brain and eyes. I am scared.
so im 13 and i have a deviated septum, my moms nose doctor told her that i couldnt have surgery due to my age and because i have no breathing problems, he also said that it could fix itself over time. is this true because i have the most assymetrical features ever due to this problem, assymetrical lips, eyes, nose even face shape. Questions: what can i do about the assymetry (it really bugs me)? is what the doctor said true, and why cant i perform a surgery if its not getting fixed by itself?!
I am experiencing an unusual (for me) but enduring headache and pressure, from behind the nose, above and behind the eyes and pressure and pain inside the ears. (Also, for several hours after the procedure, if I leaned over to pick up something off the floor, I would get an intense pressure in the head and nose bleeds.) Is any of this normal? Did I cause damage by leaning over after the procedure? Symptoms aside, when is it ok to weight lift, be in the sun, or play non-contact sports? Thank you!
