Thanks for your question. I can see how your septum is bowing and creating a crooked nose. You really should wait though before doing anything about it. Your face, particularly your nose, will grow quite a bit over the next 3-4 years. If you had surgery now to fix it and you continue to grow, the repair could fail. I did a septoplasty on a 12 year-old with severe breathing problems and tried to be conservative. He did well initially, but as he grew his septum got worse, he deposited an enormous amount of scar tissue, and I just recently had to go back in for another surgery that was even more difficult than it had to be because of all the scarring. Let your face finish growing (or get almost there) and fix it once, rather than create problems later because you rush into something now. Good luck.

Your nose will grow and change until you are 18 or so. So as long as you have no symptoms, it is recommended that you do nothing until you have reached your full maturity. Surgery done prematurely may not be successful in the long run. Repeat septal sugery is riskier.
