When I was younger I fell into a cupboard which left my nose crooked, I was only 4 and as a result wasn't able to have surgery to correct it. I had a CT scan a few years ago which confirmed I have chronic sinusitis, bone spurs and a deviated septum. I've had mild to severe eye pain since the incident, which has caused me numerous problems and both school and now work.

A septoplasty alone will not have much of an effect on sleep apnea. That being said it often makes the CPAP or BIPAP machine more tolerable and easier to use. Typically, most surgeons want you to wait two weeks before using the machine but I would ask your surgeon on his/her preference.
If anyone has a lot of pain from any procedure, they should contact their plastic surgeon. So, I would recommend that you go see him and he should be able to adjust them so you do not hurt. I usually have soft spongy splints that I use after your proicedures and remove them the next day!!
