Im 29yrs old. I had two vials of Sculptra injected 3.5 months ago. Based on research Ive done, Ive had a vigorous reaction. My face has volumized significantly way more than desired. Im puffy and have very prominent nasolabial folds now that I didnt have prior. I know its non reversible, but Im desperate for anything that will remotely reverse this and even stop collagen to continue to produce. This has exponentially impacted my mental health. Please help! Thank you for your time!
I had 3 sculptra injections with each spaced approximately 2 months apart. The first two injections were fine and I liked the result. It has been 2 months since the last injection and I do not like my result at all. It is really hard to smile because my cheeks feel so tight. Now when I try to smile my teeth barely show because of the tightness and puffiness of my cheeks. It almost looks like a joker smile. This has completely changed the way I look. Is there anything that can be done to correct?
9 months ago I received a vile of Sculptra in each cheek. At the same time I received a fractional Co2 laser over the whole face. When the Sculptra was administered I was already numbed and had eye shields on. On injecting I heard Dr tell someone now rub that in. It happened on the same side that is botched. Im now concerned he wasnt even doing the injections. They also told me 5x5 was not needed. You can see in the photo that 9 months post I still have a puffy pocket on my cheek. Help!
I am 34/female. On 9/29/21 I had 2 vials of Sculptra injected all over my face and 1/2 a syringe of Voluma. I have now (4 months later) lost my high cheek definition; jowls are now saggy and the apple of my cheeks protrude outward & are way too low in my face. My cheeks are down by the bottom of my nose and it is awful. I am crying all the time. I used to feel beautiful and now I have lost all confidence and feel sooo ugly. Please help! Thank you.
I had sculptra one week ago in my cheeks where I had hollows near my ears, only one vile. I did have another treatment one month prior in the same area and also in my temples. This time only in my cheeks. I took a selfie yesterday and my face looks distorted. The skin around my smile is puffy and now when I smile its so thick looking making me look square and making my mouth area project more than my cheeks! Im incredibly terrified. Its weird because I dont believe my injector Put anything there
I had 2 viles of sculptra on Monday not much swelling just tenderness so decided by Sunday to put a (pulsating clay) mask next day face really swollen/distorted ..told to take Claritin I'm scared this is permanent even putting ice - Is it normal to be very puffy and really swollen over a week later or could I have caused permanent damage my face looks disfigured it's soo puffy .. when/what can I do about this puffiness I'm anxiety ridden and really scared ...almost regretting gettting sculptura
After the initial swelling from the treatment went down, I looked more or less normal. Now after 3 weeks my face seems to be getting puffier by the day. My eyes are swollen and my face is far too swollen. I'm so upset - can anything be done? Will it calm down? Please please help
Hello As you can see I have a slight droop to my mouth and I am fed up of people telling me I look miserable. My derm did do the botox/juve on the sides 2 yrs ago, but it made no difference. I thought Sculptra in the cheeks would lift the area and give me more cheek definition, which I have always wanted. I had juved in the eye trough area 2 yrs ago, and only now has the puffiness started to go away, it looked like a banana for 2 years under my left eye, so a bit worried about sculptra. Thanks!
The collagen produced a very bottom heavy face and I'm not very old, but due to the placement my face still remains puffy and bottom heavy. Is there any way to break this down? I used a board certified plastic surgeon.
