I had a crescent lift augmentation in July 2024 to correct minor drooping. The right areolae looks great, with an unobstrusive scar, but the left areolae stretched and has a widened scar. As I understand it the stretching can happen with crescent lifts, but would a scar revision surgery at least correct the widened scar? Thank you!
Hi! I am in my late 20s and had a small mole removed from the tip of my nose approx 1 year ago. It has left a large depressed scar. Ive had two rounds of laser and also tried filler with no noticeable difference. Its been horrible to my self esteem as its extremely noticeable being where its locate am trying to navigate next steps. Im considering scar revision surgery but am scared of also doing anything to make it worse. Any recommendations?
Hi. So a couple years ago i used a home mole removal kit. (I know learned from that mistake) it left some unpleasant scars. 3 of which where cut out by a plastic surgeon. In my opinion he did a poor job and i feel like the scars inhave know are worse than before. This was about a year ago. I he heard of co2 laser treatment and i was also recommended ro have it cut out again and sutured properly this time. What are your recommendations?
I would like to get the scar removed completely. I shouldve have went to the emergency room and got stitches the same night but i didnt and now the scar has ruined my appearance. Please help me find a solution to remove the scar and even out my lips.
I'm seeking help for hypertrophic/papular acne scars on my nose. This issue has persisted for 11 years, causing insecurity and depression. I've tried: 2 CO2 + mixto laser treatments 1 hyfrecation treatment (caused additional scarring) 5 months of Accutane (and currently still on it for the next 7 months) I'm considering flap surgery. Even though it is drastic, I do not believe any sort of laser treatments work. If you know of any lasers that do help, let me know.
I had a bike accident 1 month ago and tore my face in the area of left lips and face. After removing the stitches and the skin healed, it showed that the skin is overlapping real bad and even causing trouble to mouth opening. I asked some of the doctor and they said I could go to do some revision to fix it after 3-6 months when it heals more but they said they could not do it and they direct me to some plastic surgery center. I want to hear opinion first
I had an unsuccessful buccal fat removal surgery, but the incision was made. Now, 1.5 months after the surgery, the scar is protruding on my face. Can the scar inside my cheek be treated with an injection-based scar treatment? And how long after surgery can I start the treatment?
I had a breast lift last year and now I have pretty noticeable scarring around the incision sites as well as flattening on my right nipple. My surgeon wants to go in and hopefully reduce some of that scarring as well as take tissue from my other breast, ball it up and put inside the right nipple so it protrudes a bit more. My concern is that balled up tissue will have an odd result and that I'll always feel it day to day. Anyone have experience with this? Also that scarring will get worse.
Ive had 3 treatments with fractional laser already but not seems like its improving. It is really bothering me since it is in the middle of my face - so I was wondering if I could get better result with a minor surgical excision if my scar is suitable for such a procedure?
I have an atrophic scar on my nose that severely affects my mental health and social life. I was injured in May 2023 and had two unsuccessful surgeries. The 1st surgery failed due to inflammation and tension, leading to the wound reopening and healing poorly. The 2nd surgery was better but the scar widened again. The scar now has thin, abnormal skin, it looks like a dent when pressed and flat otherwise, while the other side of the nose tip is convex. Whats the best solution?
