I'm a large framed girl and short(5'0) I diet and exercise a lot but I can't get thinner and I still look wide(especially around the waist) so I was thinking about getting rib removal surgery to make my waist thinner but I don't know if its safe, it seems uncommon. I heard some celebrities had this done to create a slim waist, but is it dangerous? does it leave big noticable scars? what are the long term side effects?
I want to get a tummy tuck, liposuction, and rib removal together. I heard rib removal consists of removing the 12&11 ribs also known as the floating ribs. I read it could be done with a tummy tuck which is what I want. I also read that not a lot of surgeons in the US perform this surgery.
Hi I have scoliosis and my ribs are slightly twisted and protruding more on the left side but I do notice this on both sides although its more on the left side. Im trying to figure out what I can do to make them appear more normal? I know theres procedures to remove the lower ribs, but when I feel my lower ribs and imagine them gone I dont think it would fix the problem as the ribs which bother me are the ones more below my breasts as you can see in the picture.. maybe rib shaving instead ?
Hi! I'm really interested in getting rib removal surgery but I cannot travel to the United States. Keep in mind, I can travel pretty much anywhere else, but just not the US. However, the only surgeons I've seen offering this procedure are in the United States.
There's a surgeon in Mexico who performs a procedure called rib luxation. My sister had it done a little over a year ago. I wanted to know if it was worth it. Are there any long term effects? Are the results (smaller waist) permanent?
