Question

I had a septorhinoplasty done about 6 months ago and am quite unhappy with results and hope there will be significant improvement over the yea. My tip is extremely round and bulbous, not refined at all, and the supratip break is extremely exaggerated making my nose look short and stout. It also looks overrotated from the right. I also feel like the bridge might have collapsed at the break? My tip also has a permanent shadow above it from the front. And my breathing hasn’t improved greatly.

Your tip dies appear excessively round. There are two options to try. I would try steroid injections in the tip which might bring the swelling down. Otherwise a revision could improve the definition to the tip

Results after a primary (first) rhinoplasty continue to evolve over 12 months. If after 12 months, you are still concerned, or unhappy with the results, it is best to return to the surgeon who performed your rhinoplasty to discuss your concerns. If you disagree or are unhappy with the response, seeking a second opinion from a surgeon who specializes in revision rhinoplasty would be helpful.
