Dripping nose 8 months after rhinoplasty. Is there anything I can do about it?

After rhino 8 months ago my nose wont stop dripping. It’s been social embarrassing. If I’m eating it drips extra, resulting in me not eating out anymore. Also, I asked only for the nose to get closer to my face. The surgeon said I had to large nosestrils and to wide nose. He changed it much and it is now very thinand not straight. But mostly it is the pointy tip that’s bothering me. Is the dripping and tip something to do about? ( also convinced me chin implant! Big regret )

Thank you for your question. Dripping from the nose after rhinoplasty may be due to factors related and unrelated to having nasal surgery. There may be options to try to decrease this finding and also requires an examination of the nose. Revision rhinoplasty is performed for changing the nasal tip as well depending on one's goals...

It's not clear why this occurs, however, some people do experience a drippy nose after rhinoplasty surgery. When this happens, we typically treat the symptoms. We may recommend topical nasal antihistamine sprays as an example.

Based on your photos, you appear to have a somewhat crooked nasal appearance with a symmetrical nostril retraction and a pointy nasal tip appearance. Depending on your examination, microdroplets Silikon 1000 injections may be considered for filling in the indentation to provide a straighter nasal appearance, along with adding permanent volume to your nasal tip and nostril margins for a less operated nasal appearance.
