Will wearing a N95 mask Impact rhinoplasty recovery / results?

I ask my patients to avoid wearing glasses and masks for 2 months. If you must wear the mask, I suggest you wear the metal part down and the soft part up. In your case since it's been 3 months after the surgery, I don't see a problem with you wearing an N95 mask. However, you should confirm it with your surgeon as well. Thank you.

As far as I can understand from your question. We do not recommend about 6 months after surgery the first year is very important. You can use masks that will not put pressure on your face

Wearing a mask should not be a problem. You should ask your surgeon about taping your nose to protect it after surgery. Many surgeons have their patients tape their noses to help shape it. This would protect it as well

Will an N 95 mask affect my nose three months post rhinoplasty? An N 95 mask may still be a little uncomfortable up in the bridge area three months post rhinoplasty but I can’t imagine it doing any harm other than just feeling uncomfortable, especially for the limited amount of time you mention.

Good Morning! At 3 months, there's changes still occurring and fluctuating swelling. I would be careful with anything providing firm pressure for long periods of time over your nose. If it's 10-15 minutes, it likely won't be a problem. Hope this helps!
