I have had this bump by my nostril since a few hours after cast removal. Just from looking, is it botched or scar tissue? I have very thick skin and was wondering if it is worth getting a revision? Or is there any other procedure to fix this
I have had one surgery and asked for a very natural tip angle and I now have a high tip (for me) I know it's not the worst but it's not what I had in mind. I also didn't want my nose to be more projected. My nose feels too ' equilateral triangle-ish' , is it possible in thick skin to have my bridge lowered a tad , bring the tip down a bit and brought a little closer to my face. I'm not expecting a small barbie nose but just minor tweaks. In your profession opinion do you think its worth doing even?
Hi I have a few questions regarding a rhinoplasty I had. I am currently 2yrs and 5months post op from my surgery. I have some concerns regarding my nose still such as it still looks swollen and a small minimum bump on my bridge. I have thick oily skin so I know that can contribute to delay my healing time. When discussed with my surgeon she informed me that it can take 3+ years for my swelling to be done. My old nose was also a lot skinner then what I have now. Im considering getting a revision

Hello, I had an open rhinoplasty in September 2021. It has been over 2 years now. My nose was very boxy and bulbous, kind of square. I also have VERY THICK skin. I attached pictures for reference. Now, my nose is (even 2 years later) still looking very funny. As you can see, the right side (which is the LEFT in the photos) is over twice as large as the left side. We don't know if it's scar tissue or just my skin not shrinking? What should I do? I hate the way it looks
I had a rhinoplasty in Dec. 2022 and am completely disheartened by the results. I had an alar reduction, long nose correction, and bulbous tip correction. After 8 months, my nose barely looks done and the tip looks more bulbous and droopy. Many places have informed me that this will be the best due to my thick skin. However ive seen many people end up with nice defined noses. What do I need for a revision rhinoplasty to make my tip more defined, less droopy, and overall balanced?
Its been 1.5 years since my septic-rhinoplasty and Ive been waiting for a while now for my top swelling to go down. I understand I have thick skin and it will take a while for my tip to go down especially but it the supra tip is making my tip look big while my bridge is low so it looks weird. But I dont know if this is a c complication or just swelling. I think its swelling or scar tissue because when I press down its pretty squishy still. Its worse when I smile and the tip drops.
Hello doctors, I'm 11 months post rhinoplasty, I have thick skin, I had my first rhinoplasty this year and I reduced the hump on my nose and refined the tip and made less droopy from the front, at first it was good then I started noticing that the nose becomes softer and less tight but at the same time my tip became bigger and wider than the first 3 months post rhinoplasty, and it makes anxious that it won't be thiner, should I have a revision even though I'm thick skin ?
I had my third open rhinoplasty in July 2021 after waiting 3.5 years since my second (also open). Basically it's still big. The tip has gotten longer/ drooped down again and my tip is wide - is there any hope? Have you seen a drastic reduction in swelling after 6 months? Seems I have a lot of scar tissue, is this fixable without surgery? Context: I have thick skin.
I had an primary rhinoplasty in 2005. I was immediately unhappy with the results, as I feel my nose is now too short for my face and the tip projects too far compared to the length of that makes sense. I have thick skin so I realize I will not have a refined tip, but is there other room for improvement? The reason I have not had a revision already is Im afraid of the results being even worse (at least my nose is functional!). Thank you for any advice.
