I had an open revision. Then a second closed revision rhino with the same surgeon to fix a hump on the other side and fix unevenly retracted triangle shaped nostrils. The surgeon imp. alar rim grafts to reduce nostril show. Unfortunately he completely shaved/removed the diced cartilage side. I am left back with the dent. Can I still have revision after having the alar rim grafts implanted. After how long would operating be an option? And does it have to be an open one?
Hello! Had a rhinoplasty done 6 months ago. SEG placed, hump reduction, tip rotation. I overall am not 100% satisfied. I wanted a straight, not sloped bridge, neutral tip. I feel like my tip is overaly rotated, sloped bridge, excess nostril show, and I feel like it just does not look natural. Would like some thoughts.
Ive had a revision rhinoplasty and the doctor projected my tip by 1mm and made my tip too thin, narrowing the sides of the tip. He said he didnt made any additional sutures, just took off some fibrosis. But now my tip is visibly narrower and there are visible dents on the sides of my tip, leaving a unnatural look. Is this fixable? Can you imagine what happened so these dents appear? My point is now in a triangular shape that I dislike a lot
As you can see in the image I have dents/creases either side of my nose which I didnt have before. How can these be addressed in my revision rhinoplasty? Its making my tip look droopy. Would lateral crural strut grafts help address the creases? What are the disadvantages of adding lateral crural strut grafts? Why arent they done in primary rhinoplasties? Can this be corrected in a closed approach?
I've had my rhinoplasty about 3 to 4 years ago and I've noticed that I have a dent on the side of my nose. I don't specifically want to pay for another nose job as it's not a very cheap procedure and I think my doctor should've done better, but now I am left with the dent on the side of my nose when I've never had it before so I would like any doctor to tell me what exactly it is and why that happened to my nose and what can I do to get rid of it at or to make it less visible thank you
I need to have a dent above my tip filled in after a revision rhinoplasty. Can I have temporary filler put in for the year I will have to wait before a more permanent solution, like filling in the space with soft tissue or cartilage? Will the filler disolve enough in time? Is this a good idea?
Hi, I had a revision rhinoplasty about two years ago. I have noticed two dents on side of my nose, and so I contaced my doctor and he told me, that I had those before the surgery, and that I have them due to my anatomy. Are there anything that I can do about these, or are they totally normal? And is my nosetip still droopy?
I had my primary 10 years ago, then revision 9 years ago. In my primary, the dr broke my nose and removed my hump, but he left a little tiny bone there to give it a natural look (mistake!). In my revision osteotomies were again made, and ever since I have this dented look? I have no idea why, can someone explain what this is?
Hello Ive had my rhinoplasty for 7 months now and Ive started to notice this weird line or dent on my nose which gives the illusion I have two alar creases and now Im wondering what I should do to correct this
