(1st photo is taken when I'm laying down on my side) I had a rhinoplasty about 3 years ago mainly to address a hump. I'm fairly happy with it from my side but not from the front and it feels like my nose has just gotten more crooked over the years. (2nd photo is recent front view, 3rd is about 6 months after my surgery) Is there a collapse and is it a cause for concern? How can I fix this with a revision rhinoplasty? I don't have any major breathing problems as of now. Just when sleeping
Hi I had primarty rhinoplasty in 2023, revision in 2024. My nose was very crooked after primary, I also had valve collapse and breathing problems. My natural nose had slim bridge, now after revision is wide and tip is wide too, spreader grafts were used to correct crookedness. Can another revision fix the width issue and how? Im attaching pictures for your evaluaton.
I had a septorhinoplasty three years ago + nasal valve collapse struts. Im very happy with side profile and my breathing issues have resolved. From front on, I find my nose very crooked still, especially wwhen smiling. My PS said he feels its minor and wouldnt suggest a revision, however it still bothers me. Should I seek other opinions, or is it not worth it? Is it possible I need more rigorous surgery, or perhaps the deviated septum re-deviated? Thank you!
Hi, I use to have a crooked nose with a bump, my surgeon performed a Septorhinoplasty on me (as I had a deviated septum also) apparently there was a complication that left me with a very wide bridge. He reshaped the top of my nose but it left it look bulbous. Can anything be done to improve the width of the bridge and (or) smaller tip? Also, I think I have thick skin on the tip, thanks
I had surgery a few years back for a broken nose and then another comped one to fix some irregularity in the tip. I recently rebroke my nose and besides it being slightly crooked I've been thinking it looks kind of pointy and sticks out still. How hard of a surgery is it to make it less pointy? I've seen someone out where I live and we met and they quoted me and said there was some things they could do.
I am exactly 12 months PO. I do not like my nose, its crooked and bulbous (less bulbous than it used to be) and my scar is horrible. How do I approach this without offending my doctor? I mostly hate the tip, can a revision be done for just the tip? Is it possible its still just swollen? I want my concerns to be heard, but am worried i will offend them and then there will be no solution.
I thought we had come to an understanding about what I wanted done but the root and bridge of my nose are still crooked. The side of my nose is still in the middle. So at first glance may be deceived to think that is the midline. I had wanted the sides moved out too so not as high and narrow and also not crooked.Maybe grafting was done because the basic structure seems to be the same. How can we fix this? I need the bridge sides moved outward and straightened.
I broke my nose in 2020 they put the bones back in to place but it did not go back to how it looked before I broke it , it healed slightly crooked the bridge of the nose is leaning to the right , I went to a rhinoplasty surgeon to get his insight on if he thought he could fix it he told me they actually did a really good job he said the bones are in place they straightened the septum but the dorsum is slightly shifted the cartilage and he said theres no way of moving them is there a solution?
I had a revision rhinoplasty 2 years ago aiming to straighten my nose, improve breathing, and enhance my nasal bridge. Unfortunately, none of these were achieved; the septoplasty wasn't strong enough, so my nose reverted to its crooked shape, causing breathing issues. The FDC graft now shows severe irregularities visible through the skin. My surgeon refused further work. Can anything be done to fix this?
