A year and 4 months ago ive undergone a revision rhinoplasty. The top portion of my bridge is very uneven, where it looks like one side is sloped down and the other is risen. The sloped down side which is my left, seems to become very pointy at the tip with a white blanch mark. The right side from the midnasal section down seems to be more rounded and not as sharp. Do you believe this is the final result? It doesnt looks natural to me in person and I feel very self conscious about it.
I am just over 1-year post op from my first Rhinoplasty and am very happy, and I did understand that I had some nostril asymmetry prior to surgery. Still, I did not expect it to be this significant from head-on after surgery. My surgeon says we can do a minor adjustment to improve the symmetry slightly, and I'm trying to weigh the risks of going under the knife again, no matter how minor it is. Is there a risk of it being worse? Would love another opinion.
I had a revision rhino a year ago, and I was told by the surgeon that they were going to use cadaver Cartilage to improve my tip as it was starting to hook from my initial rhinoplasty. As I was recovering, I kept asking if the piece of Cartilage that is completely visible was going to soften and potentially come down I was told consistently yes and now it looks like a Cindy Lou nose. Could I correct this with anything other than another surgery?
There is a graft hanging in my nostril. I noticed it immediately after surgery and it's still there. It's quite hard to the touch which makes me think it's a rib graft. It did affect my breathing but it seems to be getting better. My surgeon claims it's scar tissue but how can that be if it was there from day 1? Any reason to be concerned? For the most part it doesn't bother me and it doesn't hurt.
I got revision rhino with rib almost a year ago and now my nose has this huge crease above my lip and it prevents my top teeth from showing all the way. I loved my nose before this revision but I could not breathe and multiple revision experts agreed I needed projection added back in order breathe, so I consented to that. My surgeon told me it would support my upper lip and if anything would lift the lip a tiny bit but the exact opposite has happened. Can this be reversed?
One year post op and I am not happy with my result. I am breathing well, but I am not satisfied with the aesthetic result. Nostrils are retracted and columella is still hanging. . Surgeon said that the hanging columella is caused by the graft he put to support the nose from drooping. I am also afraid of messing my breathing since it was a revision for fonctionnal issues and aesthetic issues. What happenEd? Does it look like scar tissue?
I had a rhinoplasty done a year ago. I asked for the same shape as my natural nose but scaled down and smaller. However, I was given a less ethnic looking shape. Overall, the job doesnt look bad when resting. There still some asymmetries. But, I actually recieve compliments often. However, when I smile big my nostrils look unnatural on some pictures and certain angles. I cant find much information on this issue. Is it still too early to consider this a botched job? Are revisions recommended?
1 year go in July . I've had a revision rhinoplasty/septoplasty with my rib cartilage to fix my deviated septum and fix my drooping tip i wanted an elegant straight delicate nose . But after only few weeks post op I noticed the crookedness of my nose to my left side and how uneven and flared the nostrils are from all angles, and how the tip looks still a bit droopy from profile and 3/4view . I waited patiently a whole year to do this post . what do you guys see please help ! Thank you !
My doctor after more than 1 year manually pushed the nasal bones inward to make the nose slimmer. Apart from the level of the pain which was terrible, after a couple of days, the bones returned back to the original position. The doctor recommended me to do it again but at this point i dont trust it will last. Do you know if such procedure can be permanent and ive been just unlucky? He did not put anything on the nose to fix the shape or recommended me nasal excercise.
