I've had my nipples piercing for over 5 years now and about a year ago i started noticing a hole in the middle of my nipple where you can see the barbell. Some sebaceous fluid kept coming out of it so i just thought it was normal and proceeded to clean if often. Yesterday i noticed how big it got and i read it means rejection. im worried it wont heal on its own. Sould i get recontructive surgery or is it totally not necesary? Im worried about breast feeding in the future.
I have been cleaning my nipples with tea tree and sea salt and its been helpful but the keloid is like inside of the piercing site which is why I dont want to take the ring out because then I wont have direct access to continue fighting it. (The left nipple looks a lot smaller but its definitely inside too bc it puses and has like little stringy blood on the barbell sometimes). Im getting impatient and just want my girls back
I had my nipples pierced a year ago. I took them out because they got really badly infected. Took antibotics for 5 to 6 weeks and it is still bad. I have met with a general surgeon. He is suggesting I see a plastic surgeon. My left nipple hurt very bad if I do not pop it and it comes out with white/yellow stuff. It comes from where the piercing was. Is there something else I can try? I am sc meeting with an actual plastic surgeon about surgery due to the fact it is only getting worse.
I had my nipple pierced over a year ago and I went to have the gauge changed. A couple months later I stared to notice that the hole was getting bigger on one side. Giving it more time the skin over the top was getting thinner. One day in the shower I saw the start of a split in the nipple. My nipple ended up splitting about 1/2 way across even without the jewelry in it. Is there a way to fix this? Id like to get it relieved if possible.
Currently I have nipple piercings, I got them almost a year ago. I still have small bumps, theyve reduced a lot with the hydrocortisone my doctor gave me (3 weeks of application) and I do sea salt soaks. Anything else to reduce the bumps? Or just be patient?
Also its not sore and stopped growing. 5 years ago I got my nipple peirced and it got infected and never seem to go down. I tryed salt bathing it but its never gone back to the way it first looked. I was wondering if theres anything I can put on it to reduce the swelling or if theres any surgery I can have to cut off the growth.
If underlying breast tissue is removed, wont just other breast tissue push the areola out? Can underlying breast tissue be removed without an areola reduction to fix puffiness? Do areola always remember original shape and make scar, lets say if perm sutures are removed 5-10 years later? Or will the areola stay by itself after a given time? Will areola reduction affect/stretch a nipple piercing hole? Piercing is through base where nipple meets areola.
