Steroid injections would be tried first. If good results, then laser treatments can be done. If minimal or no results, the keloid could be excised and followed with 3-5 radiation treatments. It would be best to be finished with breast feeding before excision or radiation treatments. You still should be able to breast feed with steroid and laser treatments if you can breast feed now. The radiation would be a low risk since it is just a few treatments.
