The dr has chosen 275cc moderate profile and I’m comfortable with that. She recommend responsive but is ok with soft touch. I was told I would have problems with rippling either way because I am so tiny with almost zero breast tissue. I want a natural conservative appearance with as little rippling as possible. I don’t want a fake stuck on look. Which should I choose?
Answer: Soft Touch vs Responsive Since the introduction of Soft Touch, my practice has evolved and more than half of the breast augmentations we do are with the use of Soft Touch. It is a bit more cohesive, but not to the extent of their Tier 3 (Cohesive) gel, which is the most firm gel on the market. The Soft Touch is a happy middle ground between the responsive (Tier 1) and cohesive (Tier 3). Since the gel is a bit more cohesive, there tends to be a bit more upper pole. But the upper pole fullness is not round excessively. The tear drop look starts a bit higher.I prefer the soft touch in patients that are very thin and have a long sternal notch to nipple distance.Hope that helps.

Answer: Natrelle Hi there! Natrelle implants increase in cohesivity from Responsive, Soft Touch and Cohesive. Responsive is going to give you the most natural looking implant. Definitely discuss your concerns with your surgeon. Best of luck!

Answer: SoftTouch vs Responsive Hello!I personally really love the SoftTouch implants. I often refer to them as the "Goldilocks" implant because you are really getting the best of both worlds. It keeps its shape but isn't so firm, like the cohesive implant, where it no longer feels natural. It will allow for you to have minimal rippling, if any, and will still give you a fairly natural result. I do agree with the other answers about what your goal is for the look - because a Responsive implant will in fact give you a more natural shape.Best of luck!

Answer: Responsive vs soft touch Thanks for your question! I think you need to determine what your primary concern is. If you are concerned most about the rippling, the soft touch is the way to go. If you are concerned with the most natural-looking appearance, the responsive might be the right answer. In my personal opinion, I think the soft touch is what I would suggest. The added cohesiveness doesn't impact the upper pole *that* much. I'm sure you will be thrilled either way. Good luck!

Answer: Natural Results Hello,Responsive gel is the least cohesive, and will allow the implant to take on a more teardrop shape, something that is desirable for a natural look. Unfortunately, regardless of type of gel, size of implant has a bigger effect on the appearance. Finally, no one can guarantee a cup size.
