Are Natrelle and gummy bear implants the same thing?

Some people refer to only teardrop-shaped, form-stable implants as gummy bear implants, and others refer to any implant with a thick, cohesive silicone filling as a gummy bear implant. Natrelle implants are available in 3 gel types, called Responsive (Truform I in Canada), Soft Touch (Truform II), and Cohesive (Truform III). The newest Cohesive style has the thickest, most "gummy bear-like" gel. I hope this helps.

L is the name brand for most Allergan implants. These range from saline implants to silicone implants of different silicone types. They have a number of different silicone gel fills, and most of these are considered the so-called gummy bear type.

Thanks for your question. It is confusing out there! Basically, “gummy bear” means a gel filled implant. Most implant companies (including Natrelle) offer 1) saline and 2) silicone.
