I had TCA Cross 100% done Dec 2017 and have seen some improvement, scars are more shallow but they are still there. I have gone back to using Clindamycin gel in the daytime and Tretinoin cream 0.1 at night 2 weeks after scabs fell off. My skin sloughs off every 2-3 days, and I am not sure if that is interfering with the healing process. Will a series of Glycolic Acid 70% peels help? It will be difficult for me to take multiple days off work so would need something that will have a quicker recovery time.
Hi, I recently purchased an at home micro needling kit and it has .5 mm needles. I also use .05 tretinoin at home every night. How long should I wait to use the tretinoin after the micro needling? Also should I skip the tretinoin the night before I micro needle? I wasn't sure if the rules were different since the needles are so small. Thank you!
Do I really need to use tretinoin to delay fine lines? It is making my skin extremely sensitive, and it makes flushing worse. My skin has been flaking off, and I now have so much acne. I am able to control my acne with benzoyl peroxide. Would regular radiolfrequency microneedling treatments help delay fine lines and wrinkles? I also have a few old acne scars on my face. Will microneedling clear up the scars?
1. Should I do microneedling or stop Tretinoin for 3-5 days prior to microneedling? 2. Can I put tretinoin 0.1% on face then do microneedling 1mm? 3. After microneedling, what can I put on my face? Can I still use tretinoin and vitamin C later on that night? 4. Does PRP for the face contain platelet poor plasma and platelet rich plasma or only platelet rich plasma? What is your method? Thank you in advance!
I would like to know what kind of serum should be applied, in what form (serum, pure powder vitamin C, etc.), and how it should be applied. Also, is Retin-A a good product to apply after micro-needling?
I am planning on having a series of 6 microneedling sessions to improve my rolling and boxcar acne scars. I have done a lot of research on this, and I came across a very exciting article in the Journal of Cutaneous and Aesthetic Surgery. It says that the plastic surgeon administering the treatment performed microneedling and directly followed it with .05% tretinoin, but washed it off after 30 minutes. Is that safe to do?
My aesthetician and a doctor from this site said that I should use 10% Retinol for a month prior to microneedling. If I'm on prescription Atralin gel (Retin-A) right now can I just keep using this or do I need to switch to the OTC Retinol?
