After TCA Cross 100%, what would be best for my skin? I have seen some improvement. (Photos)

I had TCA Cross 100% done Dec 2017 and have seen some improvement, scars are more shallow but they are still there. I have gone back to using Clindamycin gel in the daytime and Tretinoin cream 0.1 at night 2 weeks after scabs fell off. My skin sloughs off every 2-3 days, and I am not sure if that is interfering with the healing process. Will a series of Glycolic Acid 70% peels help? It will be difficult for me to take multiple days off work so would need something that will have a quicker recovery time.

Hyperpigmented scars can be improved with a combination of lasers, Aerolase, microneedling/prp, skin lightening, peels, Cosmelan and skin care. Sun protection is essential. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

You can do both at the same time even with laser and we often use aqaugold at the same time with fillers and botox needled into the superficial part of the skin.  Best, Dr. Emer.

I would refrain from using any products (such as a topical vitamin c) that could cause adverse reactions, irritation or unwanted inflammation immediately after microneedling.  For the first day or two after microneedling, I would recommend a gentle cleanser and a moisturizer.

Great Question! Typically, patients can resume their normal makeup and skin care regimen 2-3 days following their microneedling treatment. As this may vary based on the area and type of treatment performed, make sure to consult your provider for their recommendation.

This is difficult to answer without pictures. It is normal to have swelling and/or redness after microneedling for a few days and this is due to inflammation and histamine release. If it doesn't resolve in a few days, please consult your Doctor.  I find adding PRP decreases redness and swel...
