Unfortunately i have used too much retinol serum under my eyes. Before i used retinol i had literally no wrinkles but i started using it because it was said to prevent future wrinkles! Now my eyes are all messed up. I have deep undereye wrinkles as shown in the photos. I bought a Microneedling pen and was going to try and see if i could use somewhere between 0.5mm to 2.0mm in the under-eye area to stimulate collagen. Would this work? What should i do please help
I am want to correct sun damage on my face. I'm 64 yrs. old. I use retinol daily at night. I used to get a Trinity treatment annually & that took care of sun damage spots on my face, as well as skin tightening. It worked well but was very painful. I'm interested in non-surgical only. What is more effective to remove sun damage now? Chemical Peels or Microneedling? My doc uses the Skin Pen for Microneedling. I haven't tried either yet. Will wait for your advice. Thanks. :-)
Im looking at PRP microneedling or laser. Which is more effective? I am not currently pregnant but will start trying for a baby soon, what products / treatments can I continue when pregnant? Are there any new revolutionary treatments in the pipeline to help permanently shrink pores?
I am 30 years old. My main issue is enlarged pores on my face due to oily skin and maybe aging. I have two questions: 1. Can retinol deliver the same results as microneedling to reduce pore size? 2. I am looking at the SkinCeuticals Retinol 1.0 but it has alcohol denat as one of the main ingredients. Is this problematic?
Hi, I am 30 years old and I have large pores on my face due to oily skin and maybe also aging. I have two questions: 1. Can a retinol product can deliver the same results as a microneedling treatment for reduction of pore size? 2. I am looking at the skinceuticals 1.0 retinol cream but it has alcohol denat as the 5th ingredient. Is this problematic?
Straight after doing the 2mm needles on the face , I applied 1.0 retinol and have applied hydroxy acid for the last 4 days along with the retinol. I have now read that these were the incorrect products to use. Have I damaged my skin? What should I do know, its 5 days after already
My aesthetician and a doctor from this site said that I should use 10% Retinol for a month prior to microneedling. If I'm on prescription Atralin gel (Retin-A) right now can I just keep using this or do I need to switch to the OTC Retinol?
I am 28 yrs old. I have tried microneedling, SkinMedica products, retional. Now, I've had 1 treatment of Vivace, which is a new rf microneedling treatment similar to Infini. Nothing is working! I'm so worried what it is going to be like in a year! I don't smoke, I wear sunscreen. The rest of my face is fine! What can I do?!
