I had this treatment 3 months ago and it was very inflamed - I did a course of steroids, as well as anti-histamines, which I have still been on since then. But the inflammation still lingers. In the last couple of weeks, I have added a hydrocortisone cream on my face. But no matter what I do, the inflammation won't fully go away, and still lingers, flaring up especially in the evening. Please help, what can I possibly do? Why is this happening?
Can I use dapsone/aczone to control acne 48 hours after microneedling? I read online that dapsone is an antibacterial as well as an anti-inflammatory. I'm concerned with it counteracting the beneficial inflammatory processes but I also don't want to run the risk of breaking out.
What caused them? They have an appearance similar to white heads but there isn't anything in them. My face was clear before & I don't get breakouts. I was expecting the redness, tghtness and inflammation but not bumps. I'm am afraid to put anything on my skin other than use my hands to wash with water & Cetaphil & use the hyaluronic acid I was given. Is it ok to put a dot of Bentonite clay on each bump? What likely caused the bumps?
I have read varying instructions online about the use of antihistamines after microneedling. Some say that taking an antihistamine after microneedling will make the treatment not as effective because the inflammatory response is necessary to build collagen. Others recommend taking one to help with the redness and swelling. Which is it? Thanks.
I just got microneedling done today. I put a vitamin C and E serum on before bedtime and it stung. Just now, I was reading that using vitamin C after microneedling can cause an unwanted inflammatory response. Did I just mess up my treatment? Thanks.
I got microneedling done yesterday and was driving all day after. I woke up this morning with whiteheads ALL OVER my face, specifically my cheeks and chin. My skin is skill very inflamed and rough but I heard this is normal... although it hasn't subsided since yesterday. Could the whiteheads be caused by my pores being clogged because of using a thick cream, or is it due to sun exposure? How can I clear it up, change my routine, or will it go away on its own?
Im a 25 y/o male and had dermapen session and peel 5 days ago. I have light brown skin. I was really red and inflammed after session. I have been avoiding the sun pretty well but my skin where the treatment was done is much darker and blotchy now. Is this normal and if not what can i do? I also have 2 more sessions. Should i continue?
I had microneedling done yesterday. It was rather aggressively done. My skin is raw and very inflamed. I'm not sure what would be best in terms of post wound care. I was applying olive oil yesterday. Today I have switched to vaseline. Also, how long is it going to take for the redness to go away?
I have had eczema since I was a child on and off and finally on Dupilumab which is working wonderfully. But want to get rid of all my wrinkles the excess inflammation caused. Should I do only micro needling ? Only PRP? Both? Also have pretty bad eye wrinkles and and my eyelids look terrible can you do micro needling there as well?
