Microneedling yesterday and awoke with face covered in small bumps. Is it ok to put Bentonite clay on them? (Photos)

Question

What caused them? They have an appearance similar to white heads but there isn't anything in them. My face was clear before & I don't get breakouts. I was expecting the redness, tghtness and inflammation but not bumps. I'm am afraid to put anything on my skin other than use my hands to wash with water & Cetaphil & use the hyaluronic acid I was given. Is it ok to put a dot of Bentonite clay on each bump? What likely caused the bumps?

This isn't typical after microneedling. I recommend following up with a cosmetic dermatologist for a formal evaluation. With microneedling, I always add lasers and prp to improve outcomes. See an expert.

Let the skin go through the healing process.  I would not recommend using bentonite clay. Microneedling is causing truama to the skin and each patient responds differently. It is your bodys defense response and you have no need to worry.The whiteheads will subside. If you have any concerns follow up with your provider. I would always recommend PRP with your microneedling treatments for quicker healing and optimal results.Best to you,

Hi 22tango4me,Hi what you have now happens to some patients and we call it milia. I wouldn't touch it for around 3 days and would not use Bentonite clay.
