Over the last 1.5-2 years I've done MN, laser (vbeam and a fractional), and a couple peels. I spaced them out for the textbook amount of time. But I've learned my skin is sensitive and I basically destroyed it. Now, one side of my face easily flushes red though the day. Sometimes it almost feels like a rug burn. I'm confused if I induced rosacea or if its damaged barrier-maybe both. But I feel like I'm literally doing everything possible and babying my skin. No more procedures. HELP??
I have serious skin damage on my neck caused by continuous use of high potency steroid Advantan. I was using Advantan on my neck for intermittently more than a year and discontinued since one year ago. My current skin condition is still bad due to steroid induced skin atrophy. Can microneedling with growth factor help repair the dermis and epidermis?
I had microneedling done at a med spa here in Orlando. After the technician treated my cheeks (the reason for my visit, for old acne scarring), she decided to spot-treat two specific areas under my eyes. Each area was a line about an inch long. The two lines were red and bloody after treatment, and the next morning they were indented and very dark. Three months post-procedure, I have scars in these spots. Please advise re: what may have happened, and what correction might be possible.
I have concerns about the upcoming micro needling on my face, in particular though for my nose. I bumped my nose several years ago and it moved my nose around some. It finally looked better after a good while. . Anyway, can micro needling cause damage to bridge or other delicate parts of my nose and can I just ask to not do my nose?
I have been getting micro needling for 10 months 4-5wks apart. I had 2 prp facials(not the deep one) and one mini fraxel session. I have noticed improvement, but feel I also have new smaller damage since starting treatment- if that makes sense. I also notice in pics taken from a distance outside that my face looks lumpy and never did before-could the mini fraxel have caused that? The nurse told me it was likely chronic inflammation from the regular micro needling. Your opinion on best treatment?
Hello, I had microneedling done and it completely ruined my perfectly smooth skin. My skin was completely smooth, never broke out, no redness ever, no sensitivity, etc. I was talked into microneedling as a preventative measure for fine lines. Months later i am stucky with serious lines/striations on my entire face (see photos), uneven blotchy orange pee skin, track marks, etc. Its easy to tell the microneedling caused it as i have a beard and when i shave it, you can see the difference.
Iam currently 27. I had microneedling done March 2020 (age 25). My skin hasnt recovered since then. I have extremely dehydrated, inflammation skin with severe Transepidermal water loss. I only use a gentle cleanser and moisturizer. My acne scars and pores are worse. Is there any hope for my skin? Im currently at a loss and hopeless
Did I cause permanent damage to my skin? 2.5mm depth on thick stretch marks. Pictures are two days post last session. I went a little harder on this side, but still no were near the duration you would receive by a professional
Straight after doing the 2mm needles on the face , I applied 1.0 retinol and have applied hydroxy acid for the last 4 days along with the retinol. I have now read that these were the incorrect products to use. Have I damaged my skin? What should I do know, its 5 days after already
I did microneedling in my face, eyebrows and edges using 2.0mm depth dr.Pen. Afterwards, I read that people usually use a depth of 0.5mm for hair regrowth. Did I damage the hair follicles in my edges and my eyebrows? Ps.: now, 3 months after my microneedling, and I notice a patchy eyebrow on one side. My edge also got a little sparser. Thank you in advance.
