I have quite a few larger sun spots on my cheeks and wanted to get Lumecca done, but I have a history of vitiligo. The vitiligo was treated with topical ointments when I was younger and most of the pigment came back and has been stable since. I have had micro needling done multiple times with no issue, would it be safe to get IPL done?
So my case is a little complicated. I went through the laser tattoo removal process and my eyebrows were left yellow, as we all know removing a yellow tattoo with laser is not typical. So I decided to move forward with a non laser method of removal and while it did get some ink out my skin is very red, I dont think I want to continue with the removals but I was wondering if Lumecca to kill the redness would be okay if there were still remnants of yellow ink left in there?
Im a 45 year-old female with brown skin color. I had a tummy tuck done about 8 months ago. In an attempt to improve my belly button and TT scars, the doctor suggested laser treatment (Lumecca). I was burned and had blisters after this procedure. Now Im more afraid that they caused permanent discoloration. Will I recover my pigmentation? Please advise

Immediately after, no redness on my skin, absolutely like nothing just happen. The day after, the same and no change My skin like exactly the same, no spot getting darker no peppering, The flash rectangle of my arms is exactly the same as the rest of my arms (515 filter / 8 joule to 11) My doctor said that its the highest
I had full-face Lumecca. The majority never darkened, including freckles/spots. No one could tell I'd had anything done, even when I pointed it out. My skin was never dry - makeup applied normally and looked normal. Rather than feeling like being snapped by a rubber band, I felt like there was a circle of warmth with the painful sensation of being burned by the hot metal of a lighter in the upper right corner of the circle. What went wrong? Should I try another round? Thank you.
My local clinic suggested that I have both Forma and Lumecca on the same day. Im not sure this is a good idea, I have mild rosacea and worry this will irritate my skin and make it overly sensitive. I cant find an answer to my question after searching online. Please help with this?
Hi all. I have light olive skin which is oily and have big pores in my t-zone. Past acne marks have discoloured my skin, and I currently also have hormonal acne which I have an appointment with a dermatologist next month for. After I've addressed the acne I want to start on my skin discoloration. I had a consultation with an aesthetic doctor a couple weeks ago who suggested two sessions of Lumecca IPL. Would you agree? What would you suggest?
I'm 70 y/o w/ light olive complexion. I'd say I have resistant skin. I have some major areas of discoloration. I've had 2 treatments to date w/ minimal change. ( It did work very well on my hands though.) Thank you for your help and contribution to this site.
I had a dermabrasian 20 years ago and I've had red cheeks off and on for years I've had regular IPL and it worked great for about 10 days than right back to ruddy complexion is there a possibility the lumecca will be better than the regular IPL.
