I’m a 45 year-old female with brown skin color. I had a tummy tuck done about 8 months ago. In an attempt to improve my belly button and TT scars, the doctor suggested laser treatment (Lumecca). I was burned and had blisters after this procedure. Now I’m more afraid that they caused permanent discoloration. Will I recover my pigmentation? Please advise

I cannot really assess the color of your skin from this picture. But in my practice I only do Lumecca up to a Fitzpatrick 4. Anything higher than that runs the risk of hypopigmentation that could be permanent. I would get recommendations from the doctor for post skin care, or go to a dermatologist with IPL experience.
