What is the usual number of Lumecca by Inmode IPL treatments needed to remove face and neck discoloration?

I'm 70 y/o w/ light olive complexion. I'd say I have resistant skin. I have some major areas of discoloration. I've had 2 treatments to date w/ minimal change. ( It did work very well on my hands though.) Thank you for your help and contribution to this site.

Olive skin types can be challenging in treating discoloration as there is a concern with light and laser energies actually CREATING discoloration.  Olive skin can be unpredictable, and I find it best in my practice to gradually increase energy over time and check results with the patient.  Test spotting the discoloration with different wavelengths has been effective for our darker skin types.  If the concern is redness, we've found significant improvements with Lumecca in the 515 wavelength.  Browns sometimes get a combination of 515 and 580, again, over time.  Sometimes we do 2-3 visits spaced over several weeks so we carefully monitor the skin response.  Another excellent option for resistant pigment is the InMode Fractora series of 3 treatments with a coated tip. It is excellent for hard to treat discolorations, especially melasma.
