I am currently 5 months post lipo on my lovehandles. My 1st week post op I was given the wrong garmet to wear, which caused an indentation which is still slightly visible today. Im now a bit worried that if I was to wear tight jeans, then the tight waistband will leave an indentation in my lipo areas. So my question is, will tight jeans cause indentations 5 months post op? If it will cause indentations, then how long until I can start wearing my tight jeans again without indentations occuring?
I had a tummy tuck with liposuction two months ago and I have some tight pulled skin on my abdomen. I had a daily lymphatic massages for over a month and I am still massaging the area daily, will this go away? Any other treatments recommended? Thank you!
I had liposuction of my dorsocervical fat pad area 6 weeks and 2 days ago. Im still having significant swelling and tightness in the area. There were some issues with finding the correct type of compression garment that covered the entire area, therefore I did not wear a properly fitting garment (I wore a super tight sports bra for 3.5 weeks). I have not been cleared to exercise yet. Im concerned I will still have my hump at the end. Attached are my progression photos.
Had lipo on my stomach and Flanks. Entire abdomen looks like a train wreck! I have what looks like brushing&scarring. Have had 3 pregnancies with no scarring/stretch marks, paid thousands of dollars to tighten up my stomach after carrying twins and look worse than I did before. So depressed. Don't know what, if anything, can be done to repair me. Posting pic of me and my daughter. I'm the one on the left who looks almost like a burn victim.
I ended up with skin necrosis post leg lipo of left leg . Had skin graft 8 months ago . Im dealing with a lot of tightness : cord like feeling under skin around ankles ( both ) and part on side of my legs . Dont know if it will remain like this . Have compression I still wear that gives me relief ( wear it all day ) ; have been doing lymphatic massage and stretching
I had the back bra, waist and hips lipo done 2.5 months ago and my front feels ok now while my back feels weird...like my skin is on too tight. I'm not wearing my compression garment much anymore but do put it on occaaionally. I'm 44.
I am 1 week post op arm lipo (back of arms). Since about day 2 of recovery Ive had a tight band feeling in the back of my arms. Its worse on my right side and causes a lot of pain when trying to stretch my arm resulting in not being able to reach behind my head, etc. My surgeon says this is normal and will go away with time. Is this due to swelling, scar tissue? What can I do to help it? I just want to get back to functioning normally. I cant even brush or wash my hair!
I am one day post op for lipo of the abdomen and flanks. The compression garment I was sent home in had clasps up the front (with pads under to absorb drainage), shoulder straps and a hole in the crotch. It wasn't extremely tight and felt like my lower abdomen/groin weren't being compressed much, and were swelling up as well as jiggling when I moved. I put spanx over the garment which helps the support and doesn't feel uncomfortable, but is there such thing as too much compression?
Lipo of abs and flank with fat transfer, one week ago. First garment was ex. small and was denting/creasing between waist and hips. It has become very painful. I have been placing pads (kotex) in the creases to help comfort the pain but it still hurts. I'm worried that this crease that has formed is going to be painful. Dr.s office gave me a small garment but I feel like I need a medium because of all of the swelling. Should I switch to a med. garment? Will the crease become permanent?
