I'm considering getting a lip lift and I'm not sure if I actually have a long ohiltrum or not. When I measure in the mirror, it is 18mm. But I asked my boyfriend to measure my philtrum when laying down, and then it's only 14mm. What is the more accurate measurement: taken standing, or laying down?
I had some wonderful answers when I asked previously about a lip lift but it seems like pictures are necessary. My lips are extremely thin naturally. I had a fat Transfer last year to my top lip and a lot of the fat has dissolved so I will need to get it done again. I am wondering if a lip lift will be better. I measured a philtrum of about 20mm. I also had a rhinoplasty two years ago. I dont want my nostrils to get a lot wider than they already are please. I am also 19. Thank you!
Points that bother me: 1. Smile low 2. In the act of speaking, my upper teeth do not appear. 3. When I have my face to one side, I have a duck-like appearance, my upper lip is lifted forward. Which surgery is right for me? I do not have problem with my jaw and no small teeth. Between the base of the nose to the bow of the cupid, measures 2cm. And from the edge of the lip to the base of the nose, it measures 1.8cm.
I am interested in getting a lip lift but I'm not sure if I even need one. I read online that the ideal measurement for a female is between 11-13mm. Mine measures 17 mm from the base of my nose to the groove in between my cupids bow, but it is 15 mm from the base of my nose to the peak of my cupids bow. Which is the correct measurement?
I am 38 and live in between Toronto, Seattle, and Vancouver, BC. I am in need of an upper lip lift (skin only) bullhorn lift. My current measurement is 2 cm but want it around 1.4--1.5 final distance if possible. I have used fillers for years and now want my philtrum about half the size. Can any doctors help me achieve this without getting a nasty scar!? I don't know where to go!
I made a mistake with previous question - the distance between the bottom of my nose and the top of my lip is 17 mm - not 13 as I write mistakenly. Will 5 mm lift be enough to create a significant improvement?
