What is the correct way to measure the philtrum on a lip lift patient?

I am interested in getting a lip lift but I'm not sure if I even need one. I read online that the ideal measurement for a female is between 11-13mm. Mine measures 17 mm from the base of my nose to the groove in between my cupids bow, but it is 15 mm from the base of my nose to the peak of my cupids bow. Which is the correct measurement?
