2 years ago, I had the Cutera Pearl Fractional laser done as deep as the dr felt comfortable going. Upon healing, a ton of broken capillaries showed up all over my face and I still have acne scars. What is the best way to approach this? I am thinking of getting another CO2 fractional (either pearl or Acupulse, etc.) and then will for sure do Vbeam laser. I just don't want to cause irreparable broken capillaries to show up after another session. Thoughts?
Sometime during my late 30's I developed some diffuse redness and broken capillaries on my cheeks. Not sure why -- hormones? I had 3 children and went on to the Pill after my last was born for 6 years. Fast forward to March, I had a micro dermabrasion facial and had my 1st flare up of Rosacea...I am now 45. Felt some burning and experienced some P and P's. I am considering IPL or V beam but very frightened by some stories I have read on this forum. Which procedure is less risky?
What is the best laser treatment to treat this with out a lot of down time? I had a laser treatment about 8 years ago that took care of the problem quite well with just a bit of pinkness after the procedure, I have moved away from that doctor and cannot remember what laser he used, but remember wearing eye protection and the room was totally dark. I also had fraxel a couple of years ago and and got no results but scabbing and a terrible redness.
So far I have been advised by different practitioners that the following is best for me! Laserscope LYRA ND: YAG, Excel, Fractora, V Beam, Gemini and Limelight. Prices range from $280 to $820 for a full face. I want to weep! I am in my 60s with reasonable skin but have an ongoing and fluctuating issue with redness one way or another. I have a limited budget but realize the 'cheapest' may be false economy. HELP!
Hi could you please advice me a new laser treatment to remove my red broken capillaries around my nose and my rosacea on my cheeks permanently ? i've been told that new EXCEL V by CUTERA is really good! is it TRUE? also can i do this during fraxel treatment or i should wait till the fraxel sessions are complete?my skin right now it has even more redness, just cause of the fraxel! thanks
