I have little broken capillaries and rosacea all over the lower half of my face. What can help? How many treatments would I need? Thank you!
Answer: 585 PROYELLOW LASER Hello,For fine capillary ruptures known as rosacea and telangiectasia, the most effective treatment method is the 585 nm Proyellow laser. A single session is usually sufficient for telangiectasia. During the application, we observe the disappearance of the vessels. These spider-like fine capillaries, often seen on the cheeks and wings of the nose, vanish instantly with laser pulses. For rosacea, the red cheek appearance due to facial vessels gradually diminishes. An average of six sessions is typically enough for rosacea. For the body, the 1064 nm Nd YAG laser is effective. Since the vessels on the legs are deeper compared to the face, in vascular treatments for the body, a wavelength of 1064 nm Nd YAG laser, approximately twice the wavelength of the 585 Proyellow laser, is used.

Answer: IPL photo facial, Diolite laser, or micro-needling with RF Venus Viva MD Enlarged and dialated blood vessels on the skin can be improved via a variety of modalities. I use DIOLITE laser for smaller areas and blood vessels around the nose. Extensive cheek and face involvement benefits from several treatments with IPL Photofacial. Unfortunately Photofacial can result in patchy hair loss and is not indicated in most men with Rosacea. Another modality that significantly helps Rosacea is micro-needling with Radiofrequency. I have tried several machines and feel that Venus Viva MD is best suited for this. Two sessions over a few months helps smoothen the skin and significantly reduce telangectasias and blood vessels. Answer: The best treatment to treat broken capilliaes o the face would included IPL and Vbeam laser. Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser. Melarase AM, Melarase PM, and Melapads can seriously improve surface sun damage and UV related pigmentation. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon
