Im looking at getting lip fillers for the first time (either 0.5 or 1ml depending on what they recommend). I have had a Medusa/philtrum piercing since May and havent had any issues with healing at all and is fine. Will having this piercing affect me being able to have filler? So what I mean is will it look weird or deformed? Ill obviously speak with the practitioner about this in my consultation, but I wanted to ask on here first to avoid disappointment on the day. Thanks.
I first had Juvederm 1ml put in summer 2014 then again in early 2015. I loved the result. I changed clinic to go to another doctor, Xmas 2015. They were bigger but I liked them. Three years later, smile now looks uneven. Area above upper lip puffy, philtrum protruding, almost mannish. Noticed moustache like shadow in studio lighting. Was flatter before. Will this ugly shape even be filler anymore? Would hyaluronidase help? Can scar tissue be removed from inside lips to even out?
I have never liked the space between my philtrum and nose and I think that stress diets (a lots of!), are to blame. I had fillers on lips(juvederm etc), and I like myself better but still I think, when I look at my face, something is missing. Are fillers still a good idea, or you think the gap is beh big? I tend to make a strange thing with my upper lip, pretending to have bigger lips (like pouting them, you will get a better idea just from pictures)... just to fix this gap I dont like.
Hello, i got juvaderm 1ml few months ago. The thing is, i got bigger lips but they appear duck like. As you can see, even from the front view my upper lip has this line above it. Is it because the shape of my lips and how small were they before or because of the bad injecting technique? I'm wondering would getting filler in philtrum help? And perhaps some filler in my chin under my lower lip (to make lips less stick out)? Is that possible? Or do you reccomend some other method of fixing?
I had 1 mL juvederm ultra injected into my lips 4 months ago. I like having fuller lips, but I don't like how the filler made my top lip go straight outward like a duck bill instead of turning up. It sticks out farther than my bottom lip. I have done research and some say this is due to a long upper lip (distance between nose and top lip). My doctor has offered to inject restylane into the philtrum columns to help roll my top lip upward. Will that help? Would I be better off getting a lip lift?
YesterdayI have got0,5 ofJuvedermUltraSmile injected into my philtrum to make it and the cupid bow stand out more. The doc injected it a little over the red of the lips and on the stripes of the philtrum. Then the philtrum looked wide, flat, shiny. After1h vertical lines of my philtrum got red.The lines are visible:Blue-red. Could this be a blood vessel problem?Ive read its an emergency cause it leaves scars.I cant see my doctor now cause itsSaturday night. Is it possible I am disfigured forever?
I had my lips enhanced top and bottom with one syringe (1cc) of juvederm. It's been 5days and I am not to crazy about the philtrium that my injector convinced me was important to enhance. This is my first treatment with fillers and my primary concern is that the juvederm will stimulate collagen production in my philtrium and leave that as a more pronounced ridge. Should I wait it out or is it better that I find a new injector (I'm moving to a different state) to dissolve it? Please advise!
