I, 31 (F) got lip filers from 2017-2021, I cant say how many I got but I believe it was all Juvaderm. I got them dissolved (1 syringe) in 2021 because I had a lump in my inner lip. The pain was pretty bad but at least it was gone. Recently, I thought about getting more filler but wanted to know if I needed to dissolve more? I dont feel that I do, but it was recommended I do because I have filler migration (I dont see it) and that filler moves to the migration if more is added.
I went a couple days ago to get my lips plumped up with Juvederm. The MD applied a topical anesthetic and then proceded to give a local one like you get in your gums at the dentist. It was so painful that I fainted. I didn't even get to have my lips done. I'm too scared to go back and finish the procedure but I paid a lot of money. Is there any way this can be completed with out me having to pass out from the pain? Should lip injections hurt this bad?
I got 1ml in each sides of my jaw and 1ml in my chin just over a day ago, (Juvederm) The procedure itself was very painful for me. The jaw filler was done by canulas. However now I have lumps and my jaw isnt a straight line (pictures). Is this normal? And will it go away? Its also still quite sore. It was administered by a registered practitioner by a well known company, so nothing dodgy hahah, Thank you!
I got my upper lip injected about two weeks ago, and a week ago I started to notice two hard lumps on the underside of my lip on either side. I tried to massage one of the lumps and it was quite painful. It's improved, and it's not painful anymore but it is still there. Is this something I should be worrying about? Photo attached. Almost looks as if the site he injected is raised entirely...
I got a lip filler injection about 24 hours ago and immediately saw small purple spots above my lip, by my nose, spreading toward my nasolabial fold. This area was numb, which I figured was due to the numbing agent used prior to the injection. Now, as seen in the photo, I have redness spreading on only the right side of my face, with a burning pain right under my right nostril. I also feel pressure in this area. What is happening to my face? Could I possibly have vascular occlusion?
Good evening, I had Juverderm tear through injections 15 months ago. Recently Ive noticed a lump under my right eye. During the last year I had a couple of flu infections during which my tear through area got swollen and painful for a few days, I dont know if this can be connected. Im a bit worried for the lump, is it a filler deposit? What about granuloma? Ive already planned to see my doctor, however I would still like some opinions. Thank you very much (photo included).
I got juverderm ultra in my lips 4 weeks ago. The healing swelling went down in about 4 days and it flared up again 2 weeks later. I got a script for prednisone and it went down in 2 days. 2 weeks later again I got another flare up which has been quite painful and tingly feeling. Both times the swelling has happened, it has been one side of the bottom lip the first day, then the top lip one side the next day and the bottom goes down. What could this be? No itchiness or heat
I had 5ML of perfectha filler spread across my cheekbones , jaw and chin. It has been 48hours after and although I have no bruising I have been experiencing aching pain and headaches especially behind eye socket despite taking pain killers. Is this normal or should I be worried?
On the 4th day after my Juvederm injections for my lips, there appeared a rash and some small blisters on the skin above my upper lip. Two of the little blisters appeared very near where the Juvederm was injected. On the phone the Doc said it was Herpes and prescribed an anti viral oral med. The rash is almost gone, but still stings quite a bit if I don't use Neosporin with pain relief. It's been 6 days since the rash....will this stinging pain EVER go away? I can't enjoy my great new lips!!
