Hi, I got lip fillers 7 weeks ago. After day 3 my lips started to get red, hot and I felt so much pain and tingles. I saw my doctor and I took 7 days prednisone, no change. My doctor injected Hyaluronidase, but my lips are still swelling. Now I take antibiotics and anti histamine pills. They hurt, the bottom lip is swelling and its red. Please help me as my doctor told me that he doesnt know what I have, in 7 years i got 6 ml of acid in my lips but never had reactions.
I'm due to have lip fillers next Saturday (Juvederm) but i have been unwell for the past 2 weeks with my throat suspected tonsillitis and suffering with my sinuses due to my hay fever allergies. I was given antibiotics for my throat and is using a steroid spray for my nose but i am still feeling unwell. It could now possibly be glandular fever, if so would i still be able to attend my appointment or would it not be wise to have fillers done at this time? What could happen if i did. Thanks.
I have been getting Juvederm lip injections every few months for several years. Recently, after a course of antibiotics I developed oral thrush. I am planning to have lip injections in a few weeks when I come to the end of my itraconazole course and the thrush has gone. Some of the itraconazole may still be In my system-is this safe?
I have been on two antibiotics for 4 weeks now finished I also had hylauronidaise done once It is about 80% gone but still have some noticeable Bumps ... should I take steroids ? Or is there laser like BBL recommended microneedling ?
I received volite in the lines of my neck 6 months ago. 4 weeks ago I started to notice lumps on my neck. Not sore nor itchy but very noticeable I had hyaluronidase no real change. Now on 2 antibiotics clarithromycin 500mg and ciproflaxin 500mg have been on for not even 3 days. No one really knows what to do! Or what they are actually called and how to treat it? Will they just go away?
I got Juvederm Voluma 4 days ago. I got one sringe and the doctor struggled to get the product in my left cheek. On day 3, I went back to my doctor who assessed my left cheek, she felt it was from deep skin trauma not an infection but she gave me antibiotics. Today is day 4, although my cheeks aren't as red they still feel very hot and I am applying ice to both cheeks where the needle went in. The rest of my face is fine and I am not in pain although my left cheek is still slightly swollen.
Six days ago I had my first ever lip fillers. She hit large blood vessels with the needle. I have severe hematomas in my upper lip which has expanded my lip to about five times its normal size, have been monitored by hospital for necrosis. Im now on a heavy dose of antibiotics. My aesthetician insists this is something shes never seen happen before. Has this happened as an error on her part? The A&E doctor insisted this is NOT an allergic reaction to thd fillers.
