At present, I am on finasteride and have seen positive results. However, my hairline at the temples and sides is still quite thin. I do not want to lower the line but would it be possible to make the thin hair thick? Or would the result be not very effective? How would I best find a doctor in the Los Angeles area? What should I look for?
Hey all, I got an FUE transplant last December (12-2-20). i was a Norwood 5. I got a total of 4800 grafts implanted. currently in month 10 post op. When will my hair thicken up? I feel like IT'S taking forever, or maybe it was a poorly done? please help me. Thank you
Hello, I had my hair transplant roughly six months ago. I'm not too satisfied with the results because it doesn't appear very dense. I can see too much scalp in certain lighting. Sometimes I will put dark cosmetics where I'm receding to hide this. Should I be worried? Will my hair get thicker and start to cover more of my scalp? Or will I need another procedure?
I had a hair transplant (FUE) almost 8 months ago. I would grade it 6.5 (out of 10), as I can still see a clear difference between the new and old hair -see photo-. I was wondering, can I expect considerably more growth and thickening after month 8? What I have read online its that from month 8 the change is minimal.
I had 2000 FUE grafts 12 days ago. Now I can see the hairs and not many have shocked loss yet, it looks very sparse and like density will be low. I understand it will thicken in 12-18 months. But the hairs are so far apart I cant see it looking good. Ive heard around 40 grafts per cm2 is ok. I can count 10-15 per cm2 in mine. Im worried already and only 12 days in.
I had a receeding hairline and went for a 4000 graft FUE intervention. Everything seemed on track. I have now hit the 11 month mark and i feel that the hair looks fine indoors. On the other hand, under sunlight it still looks really thin and the hairs feel like they are far and apart from one another. I have curly hair so im guessing that could be a factor. Im putting up a few pics, please comment and let me know what you think. A second intervention to thicken ?
I had my hair transplant four months ago in Turkey. I had around 4000 grafts. I have seen hair growth on my front hairline and other parts of the Transplanted area. I know the hair is thin at first but will thicken up over time but it looks very Gappy in places. I cant see any new hair poking out the skin in the Gappy parts could the new hair still be in the rest phase and come out at a later date. I have attached photos from before after and now. I also use minoxidil for last 3 months
I am 8 months post 4500 FUT graft procedure. Hairline restored and frontal region thickened up over last month or two. Still weak in crown, but noticed thickening. I'm assuming at this point the crown will still be a little weak after 12 months and I would like to beef up frontal region slightly more. What I want to do is put probably 300- 500 grafts in front and probably another 800 in crown. I also want to put grafts into FUT scar so I can shave short around sides. How soon can I do this?
