Hair looks gappy 4 months after FUE. Will hair grow and thicken? (Photo)

Question

I had my hair transplant four months ago in Turkey. I had around 4000 grafts. I have seen hair growth on my front hairline and other parts of the Transplanted area. I know the hair is thin at first but will thicken up over time but it looks very Gappy in places. I can’t see any new hair poking out the skin in the Gappy parts could the new hair still be in the rest phase and come out at a later date. I have attached photos from before after and now. I also use minoxidil for last 3 months

4 months gives you the 30% of the total look. Your condition looks good. Wait for 12- 14 months in order to see your complete result. Meanwhile it is good to take supplements

It may take six to twelve months to appreciate the results of a hair transplant surgery.  If you are concerned it is best to contact your doctor.

It is far too soon to know what the final result will look like. You have to give it at least a year to see. Keep up with the Rogaine and/or finasteride as instructed by your surgeon.  That said, it is not uncommon for a patient with your amount of hair loss to desire a 2nd FUE (smaller in graft number oftentimes) to fill in those gaps, particularly about the hairline and the "corners."  Keep your appointments with your surgeon and this will all be fine.
