I am 35 years old, I have had 2 FUE hair transplants to lower my hairline in my late twenties. I have never been happy with it, it is something that I jumped into because of an advertisement. I'm not sure that I want to go through with another transplant, the area is sensitive and the hairs follicles look engorged and still sometimes itch and get red. Looking for options/Dr recommendations. DHT, forehead lowering, baby hair transfer, tattoo, laser. No thinning hair, weird natural hairline
Had 3000 transplants one month back. Had normal regrowth in donor area except area in lower neck where I had redness, itching and much less regrowth. I have red the redness and itching is normal and may last 2-3 months, but i am most worried about the patch i see and if hair will regrow to its normal density in this area
My transplanted area started to itch, to ease it I do circular gentle massages, lately I have noticed little hard balls that when massaged they seem to pop-out(1 - 3 per day). They feel like sebum balls (white grainy substance). I am worried that this will prevent my new hair to grow.Today in one of those tiny ball (1/3 off a grain of rice) there was a black hair (see photos) I could not see if there was a bulb too in there. What can I do to prevent this? Should I stop massaging my hair?
Im now 6 weeks post FUE and donor area had many pimples and veg itchy. My doctor said this normal and I cant find anywhere on the net who has had anything similar. Im convinced its a infection. Doctor aid these are ingrown hairs and will go within 3 months. Just so itchy. Can I have a second opinion please. Hope someone can help
After 1 month fue procedure, i have greenish patches at my recipient site. There is also itchy and stingy sensation at recipient site. My doctor told me not to worry but still i would like to get second opinion. What are those patches? Plus my doctor recommended low level laser light? Is it effective and can i use Minoxidil/hair oils at this stage? Thnx
I have had a surgery FUE 6 days ago. Since yesterday my donor are is very itchy. Can I apply Aloe Vera gel on it? I have tried to avoid scratching it but a couple of times I have had to rub the palm of my hand on it to ease. Secondly when I apply shampoo or gel on my donor area why does it feel funny?
I recently had a FUE procedure done, I'm 2 weeks post-op. My donor area has broke out into alot of pimples. My doner area is sensitive and painful and also itches alot. I have finished all my antibiotics and was told by the medical office that performed my FUE this is normal and I should wash my hair with baby shampoo x2 a day and use warm towels to pop the pimples (ingrown hairs). This has not been working, I have been researching and all I can find is that FUE is not good for curly hair.
I had my fue hair treatment 3 weeks ago now and had done 6000 graphs. Still till now my donor area is still red, itchy, and some pimples are showing. Laying on the back of my head is very irritating. Is there a possibility it may be infected ? Im also shedding a lot of hair from my treated area.
Hello I have hair transplant (fue) 2 weeks ago, and the donor area keeps itching and feel like shrinking, am using vitamin e as I have been told to reduce the redness of the skin. One more thing, I can't feel the transplanted area, it's like Anesthetic area. How long it gonna take for that Anesthetic to go away?
First started some yellow deposits (Plz see pic) Doctor recommended to use bactroban, started to use since 2 days BUT The itching accelerated after the use of Bactroban, should i stop it ? My Doctor insist on Bactroban (Some side effects of bactroban are : allergy, itching and redness) Should i replace it by Fucidin for example ? Thank you
