After 1 month fue procedure, i have greenish patches at my recipient site. There is also itchy and stingy sensation at recipient site. My doctor told me not to worry but still i would like to get second opinion. What are those patches? Plus my doctor recommended low level laser light? Is it effective and can i use Minoxidil/hair oils at this stage? Thnx
Answer: Remove the scabs gently In the past, I have seen this with patients that are a little too gentle with post-op washing of the recipient area. I would check with your surgeon to see if the staff can assist you with removing the scabs without damaging the grafts. If that is not possible, saturating the areas with conditioner and letting it sit for 10-15 minutes before shampooing the area may help soften the scabs. Once the scabs are gone, send some pics to your surgeon to make sure there is no superficial infection that needs to be treated just to be safe.

Answer: Scabbing One Month Post-Op This is excessive scabbing, which needs to be removed. It is a sign that you have been very gentle with graft washing. Using the tips of your fingers (not fingernails), gently scrubbing the grafted area should easily remove the scabbing.

Answer: Green patches From the looks of your pictures it looks like a build up of scabs from lack of proper hair washing. I recommend you get with your hair transplant doctor to have someone wash your hair properly, also for him/her to assess the area and give a good recommendation for a plan of action.
