Will they fall out naturally with new hair growth to follow? Had FUE with 3000 follicles last Dec17. Good progress in hair growth, though density is lacking. Noticed many stubble type hair that is not growing out fully. They feel rough and sharp to the touch. I pulled a few and they glided out quite easily. I've taken a magnified picture of this shaft and wanted to understand what this may be? The curved end is below the skin level Dead hair in a healthy follicle? Should I pull out these dead hairs with tweezers? Will new hair grow in the follicle?
That picture is 16 days post op from having 2000 grafts densely packed into my receding hairline. I work from home so I was in no rush to rub off the scabs and thought I'd simply leave them to fall off on their on accord as opposed to rubbing the recipient area to speed up the process. Is there anything wrong with having down that? Note that all the scabs in the picture are raised above my scalp having being lifted by the newly implanted hairs.
I had FUE hair transplant 3 months ago. 5 days after my surgery, an unusual red area appeared on my head (pictures 1&2). In next days, this area became white while taking bath (picture 3). After one week, a night when I took bath, this area was separated as an extra white skin, but its follicles still existed and grew for next 3-4 days (pictures 4&5). 3 weeks after my surgery, the follicles of this area fell out extremely more than other areas. Now, the follicles of this area have not grown yet.
Before 16 days I make a hair transplant, today I remove scabs on my receipt area slowly with my fingers. When doing this some hairs have fallen.. Us that a wrong thing ? As you can see on the photo there's receipt area, do you think some more hairs will come in the future ? Also today I go to the my hairdressing and he wrongly cut my hairs in donor area so now the skin look like it's with a blood, is there any way to dye with black hair color or using a hair fiber to make it look normally ?
I am 5 weeks postOP FUE hair transplant. My hair wash routine consists of soaking a cloth in shampoo water and squeezing it over my head letting the water gently run down. My clinic said that it is now safe to shower normally/gently rub the transplant site to remove the dead skin. However, the moment I touch the follicles they fall out which I know is expected; 5-10% have fallen already. Is it truly safe to do this and should I expect/want ALL follicles to fall out? Or stick with my routine?
18 days post FUE (3000 grafts at hairline) after applying a little pressure washing side parts of hair a detectable lump found in my hand looks like I removed one follicle (see picture). It clearly was growing as a double hair single implant but is now out of my head along with the base to the hair, I presume the follicle or perhaps the dermal papilla. Is that a permanently lost graft, as that's what is seems rather than the standard hair shock loss one anticipated?
Since yesterday, 7th night, I started sleeping in normal position. Will it lead to grafts falling down? I have a ton of scabs (more in recipient area) as I really have been super cautious so as to avoid heavy contact. What will be the consequences if all my scabs didn't fall off by day 10-15? I've heard that'll prevent transplanted grafts from falling. is that true?
