I got a FUE hair transplant 47 days ago. I'm having an issue. I feel some bumps at the very back of my head where my head touches the pillow (pictures included). Ive been feeling these for quite some time. I've continued to sleep on my back but have now shifted to sleeping on my side. I thought these bumps would go away but they have not. Will these bumps go away on their own or should I be taking antibiotics. Will this effect my final results? Thanks for your responses doctors.
Hi, recently had a few grafts (FUE) to strengthen my hairline. I could see the red bumps afterwards where the hair had been transplanted. I was worried that i could not not see these bumps in other areas thinking that they had been missed. However i have heard some grafts are put under the skin and cannot be seen (by the visible red bump), just wondered if this is true or not? Thanks
FUE HT, Bumps on head 6 weeks after procedure (mushy, nodular, not painful, in the DONOR AREA ONLY. Been on antibiotics, no change. Had a culture, not bactieral / folliculitis. Dr. has not responded to what he thinks is the issue. Has anyone seen this before? will upload pics if there is a response. Super edgy about this.
I had a 4500 graft FUE 3 weeks ago and I'm worried about the cobblestone look I've been reading about. I've developed foliculitis in the donor area which I'm taking antibiotics for but also noticed these bumps in the temple area that appear quite prominent. I'm worried as from what I've gathered there is no fix for this. There are some specks on the top of my head which is more noticeable as I've started to shed a fair bit now. Looking for some advice please.
I am experiencing shedding of transplanted hair now at 7 months post-opthey look like the donor hairs that fell out around the 1-2 month point. I can also feel by combing my scalp with my fingers a significant amount of stubble which I assume are the transplanted hairs. Finally, I am still experiencing localized inflammation in the donor areabasically painful acne-like bumps. See pictures. My feeling is that the shedding and healing processes should be finished and regrowth starting by now.
Just wanted to get some opinions. Its been just over ten weeks since I had my fue transplant and have got these bumps on the recipient area. Im getting a little concerned and wondering if this usually happens and if theres anything I need to be doing. I have been in touch with my surgeon and just waiting for their response.
Hi i'm 5 days post op and am getting concerned about my donor area which doesn't appear to be healing correctly. The entire donor area skin has a lighter/whitish complexion which really stands out from the other parts of my head. If I run my hands through the region I feel very small hairs and lots of tiny little bumps and what feels like scabs. There is some numbness and minor pain as well. The other hairs on my scalp have grown much faster. Is this normal for healing and should I be worried?
Hi doctors, The more I scratch them the bigger they get. I only have lots of bumps on the back of my head the side are perfectly fine and the recepient area is fine too. Please help my doctors and also is my scratching exacerbating the bumps.
