Just wanted to get some opinions. It’s been just over ten weeks since I had my fue transplant and have got these bumps on the recipient area. I’m getting a little concerned and wondering if this usually happens and if there’s anything I need to be doing. I have been in touch with my surgeon and just waiting for their response.

This is a normal occurrence. You only need to be concerned if the bumps become red hot and tender. This happens as the hairs start to grow through. Go and see your surgeon for a quick check. My advice in this scenario is that in the absence of an infection to press a warm clean towel over the area for 5 minutes 3 times a day.

It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative care as each doctor has their unique regimen.  There isn't much you can do at this point.  The best thing is to go back and see your doctor for a proper examination.

Cobblestone appearance after hair transplant is a problem if grafts are planted incorrectly. It is difficult to ascertain this with pictures only. Please see your surgeon in followup and discuss the appearance.

Bumps on the recipient area may reflect either cysts created from retained hair spicules which will eventually go away or buried grafts (which may or may not go away). You can go back and see your surgeon to get the diagnosis
