I had a facelift 6 wks ago. My scars are worrying. They are outside of my hairline, my hair at the back is cut so hard to hide. I workout and am very uncomfortable with my hair down. Can any treatments help? Laser? Anything? Or is it too soon to worry?
I am about 45 days post FL and skin is very dry and flaky, even my ears have slight flaking. What causes this and how can I combat it? I didn't have any resurfacing, laser, etc. I've been using SkinMedia dermal repair but it still is flaky - my lips are also extremely dry. Thank you
i had temple/cheek/lower face lift 6 weeks ago. yesterday i fell skiing, going fairly fast. my right knee ran quite hard into my chin a bit to the right, i felt the jolt in my teeth. i didn't fall on my face. right side of my face feels a bit tight, like few weeks ago when it was still bruised. should i be worried that the fall messed up the face lift in any way? is the incision all healed up? i don't see any swelling or bruising on my face, not even below my chin where my knee ran into.
One side of the mouth is pulling down. My surgeon says it will return to normal, but one side is definitely very different from the other, and feels much more numb. It feels as if an elastic band had snapped on the inside. Will this return to normal, really? I have seen no improvement at all yet.
I had a lower face and neck lift 6 weeks and 3 days ago. Left side of face and neck healed quickly, some numbness still present. Right side of face more lumpy and swollen, which I know is normal. But, my right, upper front tooth aches, is numb, along with other upper right teeth. It has always been numb but not aching. I told my PS today but he had nothing to say. Im worried that just front upper right tooth aches. I dont want to lose it. Is it normal for this to happen? Will it be ok? Thank you.
I still have numbness and hardness all in front of my ear sutures. I've noticed a depression/ hollowness between cheekbones and jaw area and people thinks my face has changed and think I lost weight because of that. Is that normal at this point of time and is it gonna be better later on?
I am more lumpy than I was a couple of weeks ago. Both sides but L is worse. I can also pinch a fold of skin above my jawline ( see photos) and I have dents. It feels very lumpy under the skin. I have been massaging daily. Is this normal? I had surgery OS and cannot see my surgeon. Should I get steroid shots? On the plus side I like how I look front on. Any input greatly appreciated. Yes I'm fretting a little as I go back to work soon and I can't hide it with makeup as it's 3D. Thank you.
