Hi I am 58 years old and had upper eyelid surgery Feb 2023 (13 months post op). At 5 weeks I noticed webbing and asked my surgeon for steroid injunctions but he refused. I am now left with horrible webbing and need some advice please from people who have had a revision regarding webbing or any surgeon who has a proven track record of webbing revision as Im so scared going forward with more surgery . Thank you I also have dents on my lids
I had MOHS five weeks ago for squamous cell, a single layer was removed from the upper side of my nose. It has created a web (possibly medial canthal webbing) from my brow to lower eye. It has also caused the skin to be stretched down tight onto my nose from the bridge to the incision. I have started massaging the area and wearing silicone strips at night. I would like to have this corrected as soon as possible and need advice. Thank you.
I had eyelid surgery one year ago and have been left with a very unsightly scar. The scar has webbed and is also very long and wide. People notice this scar within minutes of meeting me and I am very self-conscious about it. Want to know what treatments can help me look like I use to look.
Could i get advice about post upper blepharoplasty healing? Experiencing asymmetry with medial canthal webbing and hollowing. The incision of one eye is placed very close to the medial canthus. It is placing tension on the skin between the incision and the nose, creating a skin bridge or bowstring effect. Will this rectify over time. Is further intervention required, or what could be done?
Hi I still have webbing of the skin at the inner corners of eyes 17 days after upper blepharoplasty! Is this normal? I have rang the hospital where i was operated and the nurse told me it was quite normal, that is due to swelling and the scars pulling. She assured me it will go away over a period of weeks to months as the scar tissue softens. Also i have a very lump like thick scar on the right outer corner of my eye which is very obvious! I would appreciate any feedback! Many thanks in advance.
im interested in revision double eyelid surgery as i want a thicker crease + parallel. at my consult, the Dr. mentioned that in order to get parallel, i would need to get epicanthoplasty as well but that theres a chance of having visible scarring with epicanthoplasty. im worried that i wont be satisfied with my results if i only get the upper bleph, but im also worried about getting bad scars / webbing with epicanthoplasty. do you think epicanthoplasty would be a good option?
I have had a lower and upper blepharoplasty about 15 years ago, then I had my uppers done again about 4 years ago, but I had my lowers done again about 1year ago and because I had had them done previous the surgeon insisted on a hammock stitch at the outer corners of my eye, which has caused webbing! Especially on one side more than the other! He said he stitched the lower outer corner to the top lid! He said he would try to fix it with skin grafting if I like but, is this very successful?
I had an upper eyelid surgery six months ago and it has been a disaster. Besides webbing and incisions up to my eye brows I have this sagging in my left eye. How risky is this to correct and when is it safe to do?
2 months post upper, lowers, and canthoplasty. Lowers were performed with transcutaneous approach. It seems my canthoplasty has failed. My lateral canthals are webbed and my horizontal fissures have been significantly shortened. My doctor doesn't think he can repair it. Is there help out there?
