I had upper blephoraplasty 1 week and 2 days ago. I know it is very early to worry about scarring, however I do have a concern. On the outer portion of my eye a small portion of the scar is blacking or very blackish red. I am afraid this pigmentation may stay. What should I do to reduce the pigmentation? Will this dark pigmentation get better in time? What kind of products should I use to make sure the pigmentation does not stay this color?
Hello. I had an upper blepharoplasty with nasal fat pad reduced/removed 6 months ago. However, my right upper eyelid nasal fat pad seems to be protruding even more than before the procedure. Is this residual fat, excess skin, or scarring? I am confused because my surgeon said he does not see the issue. Please let me know how I can correct the bulging in the right upper eyelid. Thank you for your help.
I had MOHS five weeks ago for squamous cell, a single layer was removed from the upper side of my nose. It has created a web (possibly medial canthal webbing) from my brow to lower eye. It has also caused the skin to be stretched down tight onto my nose from the bridge to the incision. I have started massaging the area and wearing silicone strips at night. I would like to have this corrected as soon as possible and need advice. Thank you.
It's been over 9 months since I had my Upper Bleph surgery. I thought the scarring would be hidden in my eyelid crease however my scars extend out past the eyelid and I have substantial scarring on my right eye past the eyelid. It is quite noticeable and makes my eye appear to slant downward. I have not seen improvement in at least 3 months. I'm unsure how to address this with my surgeon. Is scar revision usually an extra cost by a surgeon who has preformed the surgery?
Had upper and lower eyelids done in May 2019. Surgeon used method that caused scars to extend beyond edge of eyes. Scars have now are wider and have whitened to be visible. Concealing with cosmetics has not been sufficient. What are my options to correct this situation as I am very conscientious about it.
I had an operation on the upper eyelids about two years ago, and the scars have grown and are still visible, and the scar on the right eyelid is bothering me, where the scar is not only visible, but also raised a little and harder to the touch, therefore the right upper eyelid seems to be a shade larger than the left eyelid. I am not what to do, so I need professional advice in solving this problem?
I had eyelid surgery one year ago and have been left with a very unsightly scar. The scar has webbed and is also very long and wide. People notice this scar within minutes of meeting me and I am very self-conscious about it. Want to know what treatments can help me look like I use to look.
