Hi, I was wondering what kind of procedure would be suitable for my eyes. Eyelid surgery? fillers? or fat graft? As you can see my upper eyelids are droopy ,I don't know if it is ptosis. Also, my eyes are sunken and I have undereye hollowness. Compared to a picture of my eye at 13yrs I had neither of these conditions. I'd appreciate your opinion.Thankyou.
Asian, 25, male I had a blep surgery on one eye to correct minor ptosis, but 1.5 years later theres still an obvious scar and redness around it. My surgeon assured me eye redness rarely persists more than a few months. However my surgery scar is still very visible if I so much as touch it. It becomes very inflamed if rubbed. Both my surgeon and a separate second opinion surgeon agreed to give it time before attempting laser treatment but its been 18 months! What could be causing this?
Hello Im a 30 year old female who always has had these lines under my eyes. I had them since I was a child but they never went away. As Im getting older now I find when smiling they are definitely more prominent and make me look older.. since I am older. I was wondering if there are treatments for generic undereye lines such as these? Creams and topicals have never really worked.
I've had dark circles under my eyes since childhood but as I've aged they have gotten progressively darker, veinier, and more pronounced. Im 28 but my eyes make me look much older. I eventually would like to get a lower blepharoplasty once I have enough money saved up but I'm wondering if there is anything else I can do in the meantime.
Hi, Im a woman in my mid-30s. In the past 5 months, I experienced some weight loss (7lbs), stress and a bout of Covid. I have suddenly developed crepey under-eye skin with deep hollowness. One surgeon advised waiting; while another recommended lower blepharoplasty with fat transfer harvested from abdomen. Ive read about risks of fat proliferation under the eyes in premenopausal women due to hormonal changes. Could you explain the safety of fat transfer for my age and suggest any alternatives?
I (27F) started developing what I think is a chalazion ~2 weeks ago after a sick friend accidentally spit in my eye while we were talking. Ive been doing compress, steaming, massage, eye rinse, eyelid scrubs, and omega 3s, and the cyst has just gotten bigger. Now it is pressing on my eye so much that it is causing blurry vision and heavy discomfort and nausea. I know that doctors prefer to wait over 2 months to remove these, but is there any chance I can convince someone to extract this sooner?
Ive had these bags/lines that extend from my dark eye circles onto my cheeks. I liken them to as if I have a second eye bag, double bags almost. Its like a crease that indents on my upper cheek. Ive had them for years and they have slowly worsened. Im 29 and constantly hear you look so tired. What is the cause and solution? Do lasers help with this issue? I was hoping to avoid surgical options but will consider all. Thank you
Hello! I am a 33 year old black female (does being black change anything?) I have plum skin, I'm usually mistaken for a teenager (not complaining) BUT I've had puffy looking eye bags my whole life with lines extending to the outer mid face. I have had enough I can't stand it anymore. I'm convinced I need a lower blepharoplasty? Is this my only option or could endolift or filler or someone other resurfacing treatment be considered?
