I've had dark circles under my eyes since childhood but as I've aged they have gotten progressively darker, veinier, and more pronounced. Im 28 but my eyes make me look much older. I eventually would like to get a lower blepharoplasty once I have enough money saved up but I'm wondering if there is anything else I can do in the meantime.

Answer: HA Filler For Under-Eye Bags; At-Home Topical Rx Treatments & In-Office Superficial Peels For Dark Circles Since the upper portion of the midcheek serves as a major support for the under-eye areas, the use of an appropriate HA volumizing filler for a mid-cheek augmentation, properly injected an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist filler expert, can help to diminish the under-eye bags and to some extent lighten the dark color, as well. The improvement is immediate. If still necessary, the at-home use of appropriate Rx skin lightening topicals, accompanied by a series of in-office superficial peels can be used to further lighten the dark circles. Hope this helps and best for the New Year.

Answer: Are there any non-surgical procedures to help with my under eyes? In our practice, non-invasive treatments simply won't work for this issue, since you have herniated fat out of the orbital septum, creating the puffiness in your lower lids. There are three fat pads in the lower lids on each side. In our practice, we remove those fat bags through a tiny little incisions on the inside of the lower lid under a brief general anesthesia is an outpatient procedure. There are no external incisions.
