I read that Ellacor can move silicone. the article states More recently, a case o. successui removal of injected silicone using microcoring technology was reported, providing a potential scar-less option for its removal.118] this was published in 2023. is anyone familiar with this? It was reported by doctor David HashemiI
Ive been seeing doctors comment that Ellacor can replace a lip lift - is this true? Cost aside, I had one lip lift and the recovery was hard - wasn't allowed to make expressions for 2 weeks which made me take off work, and i had a tight unnatural smile for months. I also wasn't allowed to do heavy weight training for 3 wks. I would love to know if there was an alternative!
I know it's not approved for the nose but I have some scarring on my nose from silicone. I saw an article that said At the 2019 meeting of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Dr. Waibel and Roy G. Geronemus, MD, director of the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York, presented a small pilot study on the successful use of Ellacor for acne scars and striae. Dr. Waibel said that she and her colleagues in Miami have been using the device to treat skin laxity in several anatomical areas, including the neck, nose, inner thigh,
I am curious about the healing process for Ellacor and specifically if there is a reason it is performed on the lower 3rd of the face, rather than higher on the cheeks. Wouldn't higher on the cheek allow for less pull down on the ocular and cheek area, and allow for a higher lift for the lower sections as it heals? Is there a higher risk of complications in the cheek area? Thank you!
What is the minimal area that needs to be treated to treat subtle marionette lines? Would the section sweeping up from the mouth corners to the cheekbone and down to the jawline be enough? Or do I have to start at the bottom of my nose effectively also covering nasolabial? The reason I ask is I am prone to slow healing and would prefer to go section by section. thank you.
