Can Ellacor be used off-label on the nose?

I know it's not approved for the nose but I have some scarring on my nose from silicone. I saw an article that said "At the 2019 meeting of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Dr. Waibel and Roy G. Geronemus, MD, director of the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York, presented a small pilot study on the successful use of Ellacor for acne scars and striae.
